City of Carthage:
 Journey Lineworker

 Carthage’s municipal utility has an opening for a journey lineworker.  The position is responsible for the construction and maintenance of distribution overhead and underground lines.  Requires knowledge of safety regulations and the methods, materials and tools used in line construction, troubleshooting skills and energized lines up to 15-KV.  

 Qualifications include: high school diploma or equivalent; possession of journey lineworker’s certification; possession of or ability to obtain commercial driver’s license.

SCADA/HMI Automation and ControlsTechnician (Electrical/Electronics Tech A)

The essential functions of this position include implementing the expansion of current SCADA system to include additional utility infrastructure and supporting the SCADA system’s ongoing operation.  Applicant must be able to design, build, install and maintain automation and control systems using Allen-Bradley PLCs.  Salary range $15.78-$24.79 per hour.  Excellent benefits.

City of Sedalia:
Public Works Superintendent-
Water Pollution Control

The City of Sedalia, MO is seeking an experienced, self-motivated individual for its public works leadership team.    The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance and repair of the city’s wastewater treatment plants, sanitary sewer systems, and stormwater drainage system. Sedalia currently has three – 2.5 MGD WWTPs.  Candidate will also be responsible for the oversight of Capital Improvement Plan, Pretreatment and Storm Water Management. Minimum qualifications include: Current Missouri Class “A” Wastewater License, Associates Degree in Environmental Science, BA in Business/Administration preferred, or registration as P.E.  Salary range is $40,551 to $60,827 with starting salary negotiable DOE .  Sedalia is a  vibrant, historic  community centrally located 90 miles west of Kansas City and just 30 miles north of  the Lake of the Ozarks recreation area.  The City of Sedalia offers a competitive benefits package including health and dental plans, generous vacation time and retirement contributions.  All resumes should be sent to City of Sedalia, Public Works Director, 200 S.
