APPRENTICE LINEWORKER TRAINING

The Alliance proudly offers a quality lineman training program available to all MPUA utility personnel for the purpose of skill improvement or apprenticeship training.

This nationally recognized four year program is written on the modified national format for vocational education.  The curriculum materials are supplied at the time of registration.  The materials contain all the information required for each unit of instruction.

Trainees will answer the subjective questions in the color-coded assignment sheets, then check their work with answers supplied in the back of each workbook.  Trainees will take a closed book objective test administered by the supervisor and MPUA Training Coordinator at a mutually agreed upon time.

Monthly reports will be sent to the utility supervisor.

A one-day review and year-end test will be given at the completion of each year.
