Electrical Lineworker

The City of Nixa, MO is accepting applications for a full time Electrical Lineworker. Job duties include a variety of skilled journey level electrical installation, maintenance, and repair activities on electrical high voltage overhead and underground transmission, distribution, and service lines for the City of Nixa.

Certification is preferred but prior experience will be considered. The City of Nixa provides a generous benefit package including medical, dental, life insurance, vision, retirement and paid leave. Annual starting salary is $34,028.80.

City of Harrisonville

Journeyman Lineman

The City of Harrisonville, Missouri, an EEO employer with an excellent benefit package, is now accepting applications for the fulltime position of Journeyman Lineman for the Electric Department. Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the electric distribution industry. Must posses extensive knowledge and experience with 12.5KV distribution and control apparatus, safety procedures and regulations. Must be able to climb poles, ascend or descend ladders, regularly lift, carry, push pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 100 pounds. Will be subject to on-call and on occasion have to work long hours and overtime during holidays, emergencies, and weekends. Work is primarily outdoors and will be exposed to extreme weather conditions. Successful candidate will be required to have a minimum Class B CDL license w/air brakes, must be 22 years of age with a high school diploma or GED. Successful candidate will be required to relocate to within 30 minutes drive time to the Electric Department Warehouse. Hourly salary will depend on experience and qualifications.
